ANTI-SLAVERY Policy
ANTI-SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING POLICY
Jeanzi — jeanzi.com Registered in England & Wales | Birmingham, United Kingdom
PURPOSE
This policy applies to all persons working for Jeanzi or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, directors, agency workers, contractors, suppliers, and any third-party partners. Jeanzi strictly prohibits the use of modern slavery and human trafficking in all of our operations and supply chains. We are committed to implementing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery does not take place anywhere within our organisation or the businesses we work with.
WHAT IS MODERN SLAVERY?
Modern slavery is a term used to encompass slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded and child labour, and human trafficking. It is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights.
Human trafficking is where a person arranges or facilitates the travel of another person with a view to that person being exploited. At Jeanzi, we believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect — without exception.
OUR COMMITMENT
Jeanzi has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our organisation and supply chains. We expect everyone working with us or on our behalf to uphold the following:
- We will not engage in, facilitate, or ignore any activity that may constitute or lead to a breach of this policy.
- We are committed to acting ethically and with full integrity in all of our business relationships.
- The prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery is the responsibility of every person working for or with Jeanzi.
- We will take appropriate and immediate action against any individual or organisation found to be in breach of this policy, up to and including termination of any business relationship.
DUE DILIGENCE
To identify and manage the risk of modern slavery in our operations, Jeanzi commits to:
- Building transparent, long-standing relationships with suppliers and making our expectations of ethical business behaviour clearly understood.
- Applying robust recruitment and employment practices in line with UK employment law, including right-to-work checks, employment contracts, and age verification to confirm that no one under the age of 16 is employed.
- Paying all staff fairly, in accordance with legal requirements, reviewed and benchmarked regularly.
- Knowing and verifying the businesses, suppliers, and partners we work with.
- Monitoring areas of potential risk within our business and supply chains and taking proactive steps to address any concerns.
- Maintaining a zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery and human trafficking throughout all operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Every person connected to Jeanzi — from our directors to our partners — has a responsibility to ensure that the people around them are treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
Jeanzi as a company will:

(b) Be transparent about our recruitment processes and employment standards.
